|  | Hua Hin is a small city located at the corner of Thailand gulf, three and half hours drive from Bangkok to south direction. Hua Hin is famous for its marvelous beach and numerous relaxing places. An ideal place for those who get overbored with Pattaya beach, at its opposite direction, or reluctant to go to Phuket due to time consuming. Hua Hin is also a home for Thai current king. He spends most of his time in Hua Hin place, instead of staying in Bangkok. Most likely, this is one good reason why Hua Hin has an airport. A small one but adequate enough to fly tourist from Bangkok.
Actually, Indonesia, as the largest archipelago country in the world, has more wonderful beaches and various tourism destinations than Thailand and Malaysia. However, most of them are poorly maintained and not really well-promoted. Less attractive for overseas tourists.
