|  | When Jakarta people getting mad with Jakarta`s bustling life they usually run away to Bandung or Puncak. When Bangkok people getting mad with Bangkok horrible traffic they escape and find a safe haven in Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is almost similar to Bandung, located in high land, surrounded by mountain, surely the weather is cooler and nicer than Bangkok. The northern Thai cultures also enrich and render Chiang Mai as a cultural city, a Thailand version of Yogyakarta. ALhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah SWT I visited this city on 23 - 25 February 2008, to participate in International Ecumenical Conference on Arms Trade. |
